Hi, I need to replace the current bathroom fan with a new one. The existing fan is dead (hence the replacement). The power is being fed from the ceiling light and then from a light switch.
The fact that you're asking that means you need to call a qualified electrician!! It's best to get them to do it, watch how they do it, ask questions and avoid becoming a charcoal chicken...

the wall switch controlled a wall recepticle, one plug in stays hot all the time and the other was controlled by the switch. I ran new wireto a ceiling fan and want to wire this into a switch with two switches.
OK, need a little clarification before we continue here. Where does the hot from the panel come into the room? If I'm reading this correctly, there is a B/W/Cu that comes from the outlet to the switch.

I am rough wiring in new construction -- I know how to wire for a ceiling fan light fixture, but:
One room is large enough to have two ceiling fan light fixtures -- I would like each fan to be controlled from its own separate fan control, but have
1) Yes you can, but...
2) 3 conductor is what an electrician would use.
3) NO, it is a code violation to run a single conductor as you describe it.
It sounds to me like you have lots of 2 conductor cable and no 3 conductor cable, am
