I need the clip that holds my bathroom exhaust fan cover in place. Where do I find one?

One clip is still there. The brand name of the fan is HVI.

removed the cover of exhaust fan in the bathroom to paint the ceiling. now it's not working.?

I was trying to paint my bathroom and removed all the covers and shelves before painting, that includes switch plate and exhaust fan cover. Now I finished painting and put back the cover but it's not working.

Remove the cover
Unplug the fan (it's likely an ordinary-type plug like on a lamp.)
Remove the 1 or 2 screws holding the fan in the housing.

most exhaust fan covers are simply attached by 2 spring hooks. there are no safety switches, specially if its an older model. it could be a coincidence. do check the electrical breakers and make sure theyre on.

Can I get replacement covers for a bathroom exhaust fan?

No markings to tell me the manufacturer, just a number stamped on the inside: D-84998. It had a glass cover over the light which I dropped when changing the light bulb. It's a snap in type. Thanks.

your local hardware store can get it for you.
